Presidential Puzzle: Video Vexation Sparks Digital Dilemma
A mystifying media melee has erupted in the presidential circle, leaving many perplexed.
A curious video clip, purportedly from President Bola Tinubu’s official social media channel, emerged on Wednesday, igniting a firestorm.
The 3:29 pm posting featured Tinubu urging Nigerians to “endure temporary tribulations” and promising a “radiant future.”
However, a curious sleuthing revealed that O’Tega Ogra, a senior presidential aide, had initially shared the video at 1:49 pm, captioning it “A Heartfelt Appeal from President Bola Tinubu to all Nigerians.”
In a stunning plot twist, Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu’s strategic communications advisor, later reposted the video with a contradictory claim. Onanuga declared that the video was, in fact, an “archival clip” from a previous presidential broadcast, sparking a torrent of reactions on social media.
Ilemona exclaimed: “This presidency is a hot mess! Incompetence at its finest!” Osi Suave chimed in: “A thorough purge of the comms department is long overdue!” MCARIZONA5 observed: “This denial reeks of a palace coup. Interesting times ahead!”
As the digital dust settles, one question lingers: what’s brewing in the presidential media kitchen? Is this a case of digital déjà vu or a deliberate attempt to confuse the public? The plot thickens!
