Predecessors only record about 20% success_ Akingboye
Otunba Bamidele Akingboye, the gubernatorial candidate for the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in the upcoming Ondo State election, claimed that previous governors have achieved only 20 percent success, with an 80 percent failure rate in key areas. Speaking at a press conference in Ibadan, he highlighted shortcomings in education, power, industrialization, and economic development, asserting that he aims to rectify these failures. Akingboye also stated that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will not interfere in the election process, emphasizing that the election will be free, fair, and peaceful. He criticized past administrations, noting that Ondo State has fallen behind in cocoa production compared to states like Taraba.
