PDP Rejects Ondo guber results
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has rejected the results of the Ondo State governorship election, in which Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of the All Progressives Congress (APC) emerged victorious.
In a statement released on Sunday, the PDP condemned the election as the “worst” ever conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). According to the party, the November 16, 2024, election fell far short of the standards for a free, fair, and credible process, citing widespread electoral manipulation, deceit, and fraud orchestrated by the APC.
Hon. Debo Ologunagba, the PDP National Publicity Secretary, claimed that the election was marred by rampant vote buying, election manipulation, and the monetization of the process. He accused the APC of using poverty as a tool to suppress the genuine will of the people, leveraging financial inducements to sway voters.

The PDP further called on Nigerians and the international community to take note of these “devious practices” and demand accountability to preserve the integrity of Nigeria’s democracy. The party promised a detailed review of the election outcome by its National Working Committee (NWC) and vowed to take necessary actions in defense of the democratic process.
