The Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), High Chief (Dr.) Dennis Brutu Otuaro, has applauded the First Lady of Nigeria, Oluremi Tinubu, following her official visit to Warri, Delta State, on Thursday, February 26, 2026.

In a statement issued by his Special Assistant on Media, Mr. Igoniko Oduma, the PAP boss described the First Lady’s one-day engagement in Warri as timely and impactful, noting that it brought encouragement to both the government and residents of Delta State.

Dr. Otuaro conveyed the optimism of PAP stakeholders and beneficiaries that the visit would further energise ongoing efforts aimed at sustaining peace, strengthening security, and advancing development across the Niger Delta region.

He characterised Senator Tinubu as a strong advocate of unity and social harmony, values that align with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Tinubu’s administration. According to him, her public service record reflects compassion and a deep concern for vulnerable groups across the country.

The PAP Administrator particularly acknowledged the First Lady’s social intervention platform, the Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI), which he said continues to provide support, empowerment, and relief to disadvantaged Nigerians.

He noted that through the initiative, lives are being positively impacted nationwide, describing it as a legacy-driven programme with the potential for enduring national impact.

Dr. Otuaro further observed that the objectives of the Renewed Hope Initiative complement the development blueprint of Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, particularly in advancing strategic growth and social inclusion within the state.

He added that the First Lady’s visit would remain significant for many residents of Delta State, who see it as a meaningful demonstration of federal support and solidarity with the people of the region.
