The Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), Chief Dr. Dennis Brutu Otuaro, today paid a courtesy visit to His Royal Majesty, King Dr. Ateke Michael Tom, JP, the Amanyanabo of Okochiri Kingdom and Sekuro of the Niger Delta, in celebration of the monarch’s birthday anniversary.
The visit, held at the Okochiri Royal Palace in Rivers State, formed part of a grand celebration marking the birth of one of the Niger Delta’s most revered traditional rulers.
Chief Dr. Otuaro’s presence at the event highlights the mutual respect and enduring synergy between federal institutions and traditional leadership in fostering peace, unity, and sustainable development across the Niger Delta.
In a brief remark, the PAP Administrator lauded the leadership role of King Ateke Tom in maintaining stability in the region and reiterated the commitment of the Amnesty Programme to working closely with royal fathers to advance community-based peacebuilding initiatives.
The event was attended by dignitaries from across the Niger Delta and beyond, reflecting the influence and wide-reaching goodwill of the Okochiri monarch.
