Ozobo Austin Commends Tompolo, Pondi, and Tare for Advancing Peace, Security, and Environmental Sustainability in the Niger Delta
The National President of the Ijaw People’s Development Initiative (IPDI), Comrade Ozobo Austin, has lauded the dedicated efforts of High Chief Government Ekpemupolo (Tompolo), Chairman of Tantita Security Service Limited, Chief (Engr) Kestin Pondi, Tantita’s Managing Director, and Sir Godfrey Tare Pondi, Tantita’s General Manager, for their contributions to peace, youth empowerment, security, and environmental sustainability in the Niger Delta region.
In his statement, Ozobo acknowledged that their collective efforts have been crucial in fostering a stable environment conducive to economic growth and development in Nigeria. He highlighted that their dedication to peace and security has played a significant role in boosting oil production, positively impacting the global economy. “The increase in oil and gas production has resulted in higher national revenue, job creation, and infrastructure development across the country,” the group noted.
Ozobo particularly praised Tompolo for his leadership in maintaining peace and security in the Niger Delta, which has been vital in preventing disruptions to oil production and ensuring the safety of lives and property. “Tompolo’s contributions have earned him recognition as a champion of peace and security in the Niger Delta,” he remarked.
Additionally, he commended Chief (Engr) Kestin Pondi for his steadfast commitment to environmental sustainability and the empowerment of thousands of people in the region. He noted that Pondi’s initiatives have been instrumental in protecting the area’s fragile ecosystem and promoting sustainable practices within the oil and gas industry. “Pondi’s efforts have minimized the environmental impact of oil production and ensured that the region’s natural resources are preserved for future generations,” Ozobo added.
Sir Godfrey Tare Pondi also received praise for his work in promoting youth empowerment, environmental safety, and community development. “His initiatives have empowered local communities and ensured they benefit from the region’s economic growth. Tare’s efforts have been crucial in advancing social justice and ensuring that the benefits of oil production are equitably distributed,” the IPDI emphasized.
Ozobo concluded by underscoring the significance of collaborative efforts in achieving sustainable development and prosperity in the Niger Delta. He noted that the trio’s commitment to peace, security, environmental sustainability, and community development serves as a model for others to follow.
