In demonstrating high level of political strategization, Ambassador Dr. Olatunji Awodiran, a grassroots mobilizer from Obokun Local Government Area of Osun State, has met with prominent activists, political figures and associates in Abuja as part of ongoing consultations aimed at strengthening political support structures for Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke.

Awodiran, who is currently in the Federal Capital Territory for strategic mobilization discussions, paid a visit to the Hill City residence of Abuja-based activist and lawyer Deji Adeyanju, where a small gathering of associates from different professional backgrounds was held.

Adeyanju said the meeting combined social interaction with preliminary political conversations ahead of broader mobilization efforts.

My brother, Amb. Dr. Olatunji Awodiran, a grassroots mobilizer and passionate leader from Obokun Local Government, paid me a visit at my Hill City home in Abuja,” he said.
“He is in town for key mobilization strategy discussions in support of the People’s Governor of Osun State, Governor Ademola Adeleke.”

He added that the gathering provided an opportunity for participants to reconnect before discussions shift fully to political engagement.

We were out to spend some quality time together with a few of my brothers and role models,” Adeyanju said.

Among those present at the meeting were journalist Adeola Okinbaloye, pro-democracy activist and former presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore, and senior All Progressives Congress (APC) member and former National Association of Nigerian Students president Isaac Osabinu.

Others in attendance included Taylor, a military officer; Adekunle, an official of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited; and Tunji Leovest.

Political observers note that such informal consultations often precede broader grassroots mobilization efforts and coalition-building within Nigeria’s evolving political landscape, particularly as supporters of Governor Adeleke consolidate backing across different networks.
