The Ondo State government has announced its collaboration with ZNT AgriHub and other key stakeholders to position the state as an agricultural hub in Nigeria.

Mr. Wemimo Akinsola, the Senior Special Assistant (S.S.A) to the Governor on Agriculture and Agribusiness, made this known during a courtesy visit to the company’s management in Akure on Thursday. He explained that the partnership aligns with Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa’s administration’s goal of ensuring food security and creating job opportunities for young people.

Akinsola revealed that the initiative aims to develop an agricultural model by cultivating over two thousand hectares of land in each of the state’s senatorial districts, in accordance with the governor’s directive. He also noted that the government has ensured fair compensation for communities that will provide land for the project and appealed for continued support from Ondo residents for its success.
