Several leaders and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have recently defected to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). These defectors, from Auga, Ikakumo, and Akoko areas in Ondo State, have shifted their support to PDP’s gubernatorial candidate, Agboola Ajayi.
The PDP welcomed the defectors, portraying the move as a significant boost to Ajayi’s campaign. The party highlighted that the defectors left the APC due to dissatisfaction with its policies and expressed trust in Ajayi’s ability to positively transform the state and enhance the welfare of its citizens.
