Nigerian striker Victor Boniface shared his excitement after making his UEFA Champions League debut for Bayer Leverkusen. He played 62 minutes in Leverkusen’s impressive 4-0 win against Feyenoord in Rotterdam.

Reflecting on the experience, the 23-year-old forward described it as a dream come true, recalling how he used to pay just 30 naira to watch Champions League matches at the 323 Army Barracks in Akure, Nigeria. He expressed his pride in this moment on X, stating, “From paying 30 naira to watch Champions League football back then to playing my first Champions League game. Proud of this moment.”
