NANS Ondo G-4 Applauds Historic Appointment of UNIMED’s First Female Vice Chancellor

In a recent statement, the Ondo G-4 chapter of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) celebrated the appointment of Professor Ebunoluwa Aderonke Adejuyigbe, describing it as a landmark achievement for the institution and a powerful source of inspiration for young women across Ondo State and Nigeria.

The group praised Professor Adejuyigbe’s dedication, visionary leadership, and outstanding academic contributions in the medical field. “Her appointment reflects her tireless commitment and excellence in medical sciences. We are confident that her leadership will further advance the university’s goals of delivering quality education and pioneering health-related research that addresses pressing societal issues,” the statement read.

NANS Ondo G-4 also expressed deep gratitude to Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for his ongoing efforts to support and empower women in the state. They acknowledged his role in making such a groundbreaking appointment possible, commending his progressive approach to inclusive governance.

Reaffirming their support for Professor Adejuyigbe’s tenure, the student body pledged to work closely with her and the University of Medical Sciences to champion policies and initiatives that will improve student life and contribute to the state’s overall growth.
