NAF air strikes terror zone in Borno
Air strikes by Nigerian Air Force (NAF) jets have killed 70 terrorists on Kwallaram and Arianna Ciki islands in Borno State. The strikes, carried out on November 6 based on reliable intelligence, were confirmed by the Director of Defence Media Operations, Maj-Gen Edward Buba, in a statement on November 9.

In the past week, Buba reported that security forces neutralized 169 terrorists and arrested 641 criminals. Additionally, troops recovered 192 high-caliber weapons, including 106 AK47 rifles, 38 fabricated rifles, 26 dane guns, and other firearms, as well as 2,970 rounds of ammunition in various calibers.
In the Niger Delta region, Buba said that troops destroyed 83 illegal oil refining sites and arrested 40 oil thieves. They also seized large quantities of stolen oil, including 914,445 liters of crude, 537,325 liters of diesel, and 1,285 liters of petrol. Other items recovered and destroyed included crude oil cooking ovens, boats, reservoirs, and motorcycles.
Buba emphasized that the military would continue its offensive operations to eliminate all threats to national peace and security.
