The Ese-Odo Local Government Elections Campaign Team, ably led by Hon. Allen Toyin, Member of the Ondo State House of Assembly and Director-General of the Campaign Organisation, made a remarkable entrance into Awodikuro Clan, Arogbo Ward II, today. The team was warmly welcomed by the Awodi of Awodikuro, His Royal Highness Gbanatei Gentle Ofeyeju, who offered his royal blessings to the candidates.
The delegation included the Chairmanship candidate, High Chief Molos Ebimobowei; his running mate, Ms. Modimu F. Beauty; and the Councillorship candidate for Arogbo Ward II, Mr. Asetewu Ebipatei. Following the royal reception, the campaign team proceeded to the Awodikuro C&S Church, the venue of their rally, where High Chief Ebimobowei Caleb Molos outlined his vision for the community.
In his address, High Chief Ebimobowei highlighted his blueprint for transforming Arogbo Ward II, focusing on improving the education sector, healthcare facilities, employment opportunities, and electrification of rural communities. His plans were met with resounding applause from the audience, signaling strong community support.
As part of the event, the Party Chairman of Arogbo Ward II, Mr. Kpiliboh Nasiri, formally presented the party’s flag to the Councillorship candidate, Mr. Asetewu Ebipatei, signifying the All Progressives Congress’ (APC) readiness for the January 18, 2025, polls.
The rally also witnessed a major political boost for the APC, with over 200 members decamping from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP). The defectors, led by Mr. Apostles Gabai Mogul, a former PDP chieftain in Arogbo Ward II, pledged their allegiance to the APC, further strengthening the party’s position in the area.
With the overwhelming support displayed today, High Chief Ebimobowei Caleb Molos’ victory seems inevitable in the forthcoming elections.
