In a warm display of gratitude and solidarity, the Concerned Youths of Arogbo Ibe, Abuja Chapter, on Wednesday, September 17, 2024, visited the Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, at the Governor’s Lodge in Asokoro, Abuja.
The high-spirited delegation, led by President Timi Alfred and Secretary Hon. Ebiketon Gbamila A.K., described the visit as a “thank-you mission,” expressing heartfelt appreciation to the governor for appointing their illustrious son, Hon. Dr. Tob Loko, as Commissioner for Environment in Ondo State.
Other distinguished members of the delegation included Soriwei Ogonoebiju Divine, Sofiyegha Tibi-ebi Fancy, Ajube Solomon Democracy, and Happy Ojoye Zeblon.
In their remarks, the youths commended Governor Aiyedatiwa for his inclusive leadership style, noting that his administration has continued to open doors for young people to participate in governance. They further pledged their unflinching support for his government, describing him as “a leader who listens and acts with sincerity.”
Responding warmly, Governor Aiyedatiwa expressed delight at receiving the delegation and reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to youth development. He assured the youths that his administration would continue to identify, empower, and appoint “intelligent and capable young people” from Ese-Odo Local Government and across Ondo State into meaningful positions of service.
The meeting, described as both cordial and fruitful, was filled with a spirit of mutual respect and optimism. Observers noted that the visit not only deepened the bond between the governor and the Arogbo Ibe community in Abuja but also symbolized a new dawn of collaboration and youth engagement in the state’s governance.
