I’d support the development of Niger delta regions_ Fubara

The Rivers State Government has expressed its commitment to the development of the Niger Delta region, aligning with President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Mantra.

Governor Siminalayi Fubara conveyed this message while hosting the Hon. Minister of Niger Delta Development, Engr. Abubakar Momoh, at the Government House in Port Harcourt on September 19, 2024. Represented by his Deputy, Professor Ngozi Nma Odu, Governor Fubara emphasized the importance of involving youths in empowerment initiatives, believing that such efforts will strengthen their financial independence and renew hope within the community.

He acknowledged the Ministry’s plans for an Economic Summit in November 2024, noting that it underscores Rivers State’s focus on development and its welcoming environment for business. Fubara thanked the Minister for recognizing the state government’s commitment to enhancing economic growth not just in Rivers but across the entire region.

Minister Momoh, represented by Dr. (Mrs) Jesam Oarhe, Head of Administration, highlighted the Ministry’s mission to empower and rapidly develop the Niger Delta. He noted the collaboration with stakeholders for the upcoming Economic Summit and expressed gratitude for Governor Fubara’s impactful programs that align with the Ministry’s goals for the region.
