I will win exceedingly under the APC_ AIYEDATIWA

Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa expressed confidence that the All Progressives Congress (APC) is well-prepared to win the governorship election on November 16, 2024, by a significant margin. He made these comments during the inauguration of the Ondo state chapter of The Mandate Movement (TMM) in Akure on Sunday.

Represented by his deputy, Olayide Adelami, Aiyedatiwa recognized TMM’s role in promoting progressive politics in southwestern Nigeria. He stated, “TMM is among the strongest political movements in Nigeria,” and praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for elevating the progressive platform. Aiyedatiwa expressed optimism about achieving 80 percent of the vote with TMM’s involvement.

During the inauguration, TMM’s national chairman, Cardinal James Odunbaku, emphasized the group’s mission to elect governors from the APC across the southwestern states. He noted that Ondo, Lagos, Ogun, and Ekiti are already aligned with the progressives, and he anticipated that Osun and Oyo would soon follow suit.

Ondo APC chairman Engr Ade Adetimehin, represented by Aro Bernard, thanked Odunbaku and his team for enhancing the movement’s effectiveness. Omofunmilewa Adejombo, the chairman of TMM in Ondo, assured that the chapter would be well-coordinated to ensure victory for the APC in the upcoming election.
