Former legislator, Hon. Kolade Akinjo, has described his participation at the Summit of Former Legislators held in Abuja as a nostalgic and emotionally uplifting experience.
Hon. Akinjo, who left the National Assembly nearly three years ago, said the summit provided an opportunity to reconnect with former colleagues and relive shared legislative journeys marked by warm embraces and fond recollections.
He revealed that participants at the summit unanimously agreed that a reformed Nigeria is better than a deformed one, expressing strong support for the ongoing reforms under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
According to him, although the reforms come with some short-term pains, they are already yielding positive results and will ultimately bring lasting benefits to Nigerians.
Hon. Akinjo expressed optimism about the nation’s future, stating that Nigeria’s tomorrow is on the rise.
He concluded by extending warm Sunday greetings to Nigerians.
