The immediate past Deputy Governor of Delta State, His Excellency Deacon Kingsley Burutu Otuaro, has extended heartfelt birthday wishes to renowned Niger Delta leader, High Chief Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, as he marks his 54th birthday.
In a goodwill message issued on Saturday morning on behalf of the “Oporozawei House”, Deacon Otuaro described Tompolo as a “rare gem” whose life and sacrifices continue to inspire many across the region and beyond.
“On behalf of “Oporozawei House”, I join well-meaning Nigerians, particularly the people of the Niger Delta, in celebrating a true icon, my brother, High Chief Government Ekpemupolo,” the message read.
He praised Tompolo for his unwavering commitment to justice, equity, and the upliftment of the Niger Delta people, describing his leadership as one born out of selflessness and unwavering dedication.
“You have been a voice for the voiceless and a symbol of strength in the face of adversity. Your unwavering stand for the truth and the wellbeing of our people speaks volumes of your courage and the enduring Ijaw spirit,” Otuaro noted.
He went on to offer prayers for divine protection, wisdom, and continued good health for the celebrant, urging him to remain steadfast in his pursuit of a just and developed Niger Delta.
“Today, we honour not just your birthday but the impactful legacy you continue to build. May you be blessed with long life, peace, and greater influence,” Otuaro concluded.
