High Chief Prince Toikumoh, Toboulayefa ThankGod, Warns Saboteurs, Affirms Improved Security in Niger Delta
High Chief Prince Toikumoh Toboulayefa ThankGod, the Torukurowei of Arogbo-Ijaw Kingdom and Chief Executive Officer of Threelions Sakajoe International Security Limited, has issued a strong warning to individuals he described as mischief-makers, saboteurs and criminal elements operating within the Niger Delta region.
The Three Lions gave the warning after an extensive inspection tour of the coastal corridor stretching from Ondo State to Ibono in Cross River State. According to him, the assessment revealed significant improvement in security across the waterways and riverine communities of the region.
Toboulayefa stated that the waters are currently safe and free from piracy, adding that no cases of illegal oil bunkering were detected during the inspection. He attributed the improved security situation largely to the operations of Tantita Security Services Limited (TSSNL), which he said has played a crucial role in safeguarding critical waterways, coastal settlements and oil installations across the Niger Delta.
According to him, the presence of the security outfit has helped to sustain peace and stability in the region, thereby protecting the livelihoods of thousands of residents who depend on fishing, maritime trade and other water-based economic activities.
The Arogbo-Ijaw born High Chief also condemned attempts by some individuals whom he accused of seeking personal enrichment at the expense of the region’s peace and development. He urged the Federal Government, particularly President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to disregard what he described as divisive voices and actions that do not reflect the collective interest of the Niger Delta people.
“The Niger Delta belongs to all of us. Any attempt to betray the interest of the people or undermine the security of the region will not be tolerated,” he said.
Toboulayefa further emphasised that Threelions Sakajoe International Security Limited remains committed to collaborating with relevant security agencies and stakeholders to combat maritime crimes, illegal oil bunkering and other threats to regional stability.
He reassured oil companies, host communities and other stakeholders that ongoing security operations in the region remain robust, noting that coordinated surveillance and enforcement efforts have significantly reduced opportunities for criminal activities.
High Chief Three Lions also called on residents of the Niger Delta to continue supporting legitimate security agencies by providing useful information that could help sustain the peace currently being experienced.
“Peace and security are the foundation of development. All stakeholders must work together to protect the progress already made in the Niger Delta,” he added.
