High Chief Dr. Dennis Otuaro Kicks Off Vocational Training Program

The Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), in collaboration with the Joemarine Institute of Nautical Studies and Research, has officially launched a bootcamp and refresher course aimed at equipping maritime delegates with critical skills for the industry. The event took place at Joemarine’s headquarters, located at KM 8, Benin-Effurun Expressway, Otomewo, Okpe Local Government Area, Delta State.

The program’s launch was attended by several dignitaries, including the Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, Chief Dennis Otuaro, PhD; Joemarine’s Managing Director, Engr. Kenneth Akpos Epidei; HRM Pere Kalanama VIII, Pere of Akugbene-Mein Kingdom and the 1st Vice Chairman of the Delta State Council of Traditional Rulers; Capt. Warredi Enisuoh, Executive Director of Operations and Technical Services at Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited; and Barr. Edgar Biu, Technical Assistant to the PAP Administrator, alongside numerous staff members and stakeholders.

The maritime training program is designed to provide delegates with essential skills that align with current industry demands, enhancing career opportunities and contributing to skill development and empowerment in the Niger Delta region.
