The Congress Newspaper and its digital television arm are set to mark their 4th anniversary with a grand celebration on Thursday, July 10, 2025, in Warri, Delta State.
This year’s event promises to be a significant occasion, featuring an awards ceremony to honour distinguished individuals with exceptional public service records. A lecture session will also be held, focusing on the theme: “Entrenching Accountability in Governance,” with the main topic: “Strengthening Institutions and Legislations to Prevent Graft in Governance.”
The celebration will be chaired by Chief Sheriff Mulade, National Coordinator of the Center for Peace and Environmental Justice (CEPEJ). Other dignitaries expected at the event include Barr. Eric Omare, former President of the Ijaw Youth Council (IYC), who will serve as the Special Guest of Honour; Mr. Mulu Anthony, Managing Director/CEO of Silver Continental Global Ventures Ltd, as Guest of Honour; and Enewaridideke Ekanpou, renowned writer and publisher, who will deliver the keynote address.
The management of the Congress Newspaper has extended an open invitation to members of the public and stakeholders from across sectors to be part of the milestone celebration.
