Jacob Abai, the CEO and Publisher of Gbaramatu Voice International, has launched a crowdfunding initiative to raise ₦500,000 in support of Jenny Dongha Smart, a widow struggling to care for her children after losing her husband in a tragic boat accident.

Taking to his social media handle, Abai made a passionate appeal, urging well-meaning individuals to contribute to Jenny’s cause. He emphasized the importance of collective support, stating, “This is a clarion call to humanity. If you’re moved to support, please indicate. Together, we can make a difference.”

Jenny, a hardworking mother, currently sells madiga (traditional bread) to sustain her family. However, she dreams of expanding into fish selling, a more lucrative business, to better provide for her children. With financial constraints limiting her ability to scale up, the fundraiser aims to empower her with a sustainable livelihood.

Abai, through Gbaramatu Voice International, has pledged to ensure that all donations directly benefit Jenny and help her secure a stable future.
