The Federal Government has commenced the disbursement of the ₦10,000 monthly stipend to beneficiaries of the National Directorate of Employment (NDE) Renewed Hope Employment Initiative (RHEI) for January 2026.
Findings indicate that trainees who completed their training requirements and successfully uploaded valid bank account details on the NDE portal have started receiving their payments.
The January stipend payment began on January 8, 2026, with several beneficiaries confirming receipt of the funds, while others are still awaiting payments for previous months.
The ongoing disbursement targets beneficiaries who correctly submitted their bank details, are actively participating in training at their assigned centres, and whose dashboard status has been approved on the NDE portal.
The payment follows an earlier disbursement in December 2025, when beneficiaries under the second phase of the RHEI programme received a cumulative ₦30,000 stipend.
Applicants whose dashboard status remains marked as “Pending” are not eligible for the January payment, while those experiencing registration or validation issues have been advised to seek assistance at their respective state NDE offices.
The Federal Government assured that the payment process is ongoing and will continue in phases as beneficiary records are validated, urging participants to remain patient while outstanding payments are processed.
