On May 12, 2025, High Chief Caleb Ebimobowei Molos (CEM), Executive Chairman of Ese-Odo Local Government Area, presented the 2025 Appropriation Bill to the local legislative council. The budget, themed “Budget of Sustainable Growth and Development,” is set at N4,700,360,854.81, with a breakdown of N3,513,260,854.81 for recurrent expenses and N1,187,100,000.00 allocated for capital projects.
The sectoral distribution highlights key priorities:
Infrastructure: N501,500,000.00
Education: N50,000,000.00
Health Services: N27,300,000.00
Agriculture: N39,000,000.00
Chairman Molos expressed heartfelt gratitude to Ondo State Governor, His Excellency Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, for his exemplary leadership promoting transparency and inclusiveness. He also thanked the residents of Ese-Odo for their unwavering trust and support, reaffirming his administration’s commitment to delivering tangible results. The Speaker of the Legislative House, Rt. Hon. Elijah Jeremiah, lauded the Chairman’s team for their dedication and assured a cooperative and expedited budget approval process for the welfare of the people.
The budget presentation was attended by prominent officials including the Secretary to the Local Government, Pastor Egbukuyomi Fidelis Ola; Director of General Services and Administration, Barrister Ebipatei Johnolt; Director of Finance and Supplies; alongside other senior government officials.
