The Executive Chairman of Ese-Odo Local Government Area, High Chief Caleb Ebimobowei Molos (CEM), has expressed deep condolences to the family of the late Hon. (Mrs.) Esther Ebiwonjumi, popularly known as Iya Abo.

In a statement issued on Friday by his Chief Press Secretary, Denis Pounah, the Chairman described the late Ebiwonjumi, a former Vice Chairman of the council, as “a woman of virtue and substance” who remained a steadfast and loyal party member throughout her political career.

“Hon. (Mrs.) Esther Ebiwonjumi was a committed and faithful member of our great party, who brought significant influence to the party when she defected from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP),” Molos said. “She will be greatly missed by the All Progressives Congress (APC), especially in Ese-Odo.”

The statement was issued during the lying-in-state ceremony held at the Ese-Odo Local Government Secretariat Complex in Igbekebo, the political headquarters of the council area.

The event drew a cross-section of political leaders, stakeholders, and community members from across Ondo State, all gathered to pay their final respects to the grassroots politician.

Ebiwonjumi is remembered for her unwavering dedication to public service, community development, and the advancement of women in politics.

May her soul rest in peace.
