A socio-political pressure group, Soft Nigeria, has endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term in office, commending his administration’s economic reforms and governance efforts since assuming office in 2023.

The group made its position known in a statement issued on Saturday and signed by its National Director of Media, Ossai Ovie Success, who also serves as Special Assistant to the Delta State Governor, Sherif Oborevwori, said the President has demonstrated credible leadership and initiated policies aimed at stabilising Nigeria’s economy.

According to the statement, the organisation believes the Tinubu administration has recorded measurable progress in key areas, including fiscal management, infrastructure development and efforts to boost investor confidence.

Under President Tinubu’s leadership, Nigeria has seen significant strides in fiscal management, infrastructure development, and enhanced investor confidence, particularly in the oil and gas sector,” Ossai stated.

Soft Nigeria also highlighted programmes targeted at empowering small and medium-scale enterprises, women and young people, describing them as part of broader initiatives designed to strengthen economic growth and social inclusion.

The group further noted that steps taken by the administration to address security challenges and improve national stability are critical to sustaining development across the country.

These are critical steps in the right direction, and we believe President Tinubu’s continued leadership is essential to consolidate these gains and drive Nigeria’s sustainable growth,” Ossai added.

The organisation said its endorsement aligns with what it described as increasing support for the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which it said outlines a pathway for economic recovery and national development.

Soft Nigeria therefore called on Nigerians to support the President’s re-election bid in the 2027 general elections.

We urge all Nigerians to support President Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027, as he is the leader to steer the country towards greater heights,” the statement concluded.
