Dr. Otuaro’s Initiatives: High Chief Sofiyegha Ayebi Takes Bold Step on Dilapidated Facilities in Ondo PAP’s liaison Office

In a move reflecting and consolidating on the leadership ideals of his principal, High Chief Dr. Dennis Brutu Otuaro, Ph.D, Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), the Head of the Ondo Liaison Office of PAP, High Chief Sylvester Ayebi Sofiyegha, has led a team of liaison staff to inspect a dangerously dilapidated suck-away facility in Agadagba-Obon, headquarters of the PAP liaison office in Ese-Odo Local Government Area, Ondo State.

Accompanied by Engr. Mobowei Felix , the engineer designated to assess and handle the rehabilitation project, the inspection was conducted as part of a broader effort to improve the working environment and safety of the facility.

High Chief S.A Sofiyegha, during the inspection, reiterated his commitment to following the developmental footprints of Dr. Otuaro by ensuring that all decaying infrastructure within the Ondo liaison complex are addressed promptly.

“Our Administrator, High Chief Dr. Dennis Otuaro, has charged us to be responsive and people-oriented in our duties. The current state of this suck-away poses environmental and health risks. We can’t fold our arms; we must act,” he declared.

The engineer, Engr. Mobowei Felix, briefed the team on the technical scope of the issue and promised to submit a detailed report and cost plan for immediate remedial action.

The Presidential Amnesty Programme, under the stewardship of Dr. Otuaro, continues to demonstrate a renewed commitment to infrastructural rehabilitation, staff welfare, and service delivery, especially at the grassroots.

This inspection marks another bold step by the Ondo liaison office in ensuring that PAP’s facilities remain functional and safe for both workers and visitors.
