The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), under the leadership of Managing Director Dr. Samuel Ogbuku, has announced plans to expand the WW White Football Tournament to secondary schools across the Niger Delta region.
Initially hosted in Rivers State, the tournament aims to discover and nurture young football talent while fostering unity among students. Dr. Ogbuku emphasized that the competition would follow a league format to promote sportsmanship and physical fitness.

“This initiative will not only develop football talent but also instill discipline and teamwork among students,” he stated.
With its planned expansion, the tournament will offer secondary schools across the region a broader platform for youth engagement and development through sports.
