DANGOTE REWARDS TOP CEMENT DISTRIBUTORS WITH ₦15 BILLION WORTH OF GIFTS
Billionaire industrialist Aliko Dangote has rewarded leading distributors and customers of Dangote Cement Plc with gifts valued at ₦15 billion, in recognition of their loyalty, resilience, and outstanding performance.
The rewards were unveiled at the 2026 Dangote Cement Distributors’ Awards Night, held in Lagos.
Beneficiaries went home with a wide range of prizes, including cash rewards, cement containers, luxury SUVs, and Compressed Natural Gas (CNG)-powered trucks, all collectively valued at ₦15 billion.
Speaking at the event, Dangote described the distributors as the backbone of the company, praising their commitment to ensuring Dangote Cement products reach consumers across Nigeria and beyond.
According to him, their dedication and direct engagement with customers play a critical role in translating the company’s strategies into measurable success.
Dangote explained that the theme of the event, “Partner for Growth,” reflects the company’s confidence that its growth trajectory for 2026 is already underway, driven by strong partnerships and market performance.
The business mogul also used the occasion to reaffirm the Dangote Group’s Vision 2030, which targets transforming the conglomerate into a $100 billion enterprise by the year 2030. He said the strategy is anchored on industrial expansion, cross-border investments, and strengthening Africa’s self-sufficiency in key sectors such as energy, manufacturing, and infrastructure.
Dangote disclosed that the Dangote Cement Group is working towards expanding its production capacity to about 90 million tonnes by 2030, noting that the ambition goes beyond factory construction to building Africa’s long-term economic capacity.
He further revealed plans to expand the Dangote Petroleum Refinery from 650,000 barrels per day to 1.4 million barrels per day, increase fertiliser production capacity to 12 million metric tonnes per annum, and scale up output at the polypropylene plant.
Dangote stressed that Vision 2030 is part of the Group’s Africa First agenda, driven by the belief that Africa’s future must be built by Africans who dare to dream big, push boundaries, and remain committed to sustainable industrial development.
