The Ondo State government, under the leadership of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has approved the reopening of a secondary school in Akure North, four decades after it was closed.
This development was revealed by the Governor’s Senior Special Assistant on Community Engagement, Oluwafemi Fadairo, during a courtesy visit to the palace of the Asinigbo of Isinigbo, Oba Omotayo Adu, on Wednesday.
Fadairo stated that the initiative aims to improve access to education for all children, regardless of their financial background. He commended Governor Aiyedatiwa for being responsive to the needs of the people and reaffirmed his commitment to advancing education and community welfare.

He also promised that the state government would soon begin construction of additional facilities at the school.
In response, the palace spokesperson, Hon. Adeleye Oluwarotimi, expressed gratitude to Fadairo for his role in securing government approval for the Isinigbo primary school and praised the administration’s focus on community development.
