College Students Abducted In Ondo, Gunmen Demands 15 Million As Ransom

Three students from the Federal College of Agriculture, Akure, were kidnapped while working on a farm near Akure Airport in Ondo State. The incident occurred on Saturday evening at a farm settlement called Oke Oge, located in the Oba-Ile area of Akure North Local Government Area, as the victims were returning home after their Industrial Training (IT).

The Ondo State Police Command’s Public Relations Officer, Funmilayo Odunlami, confirmed the abduction and stated that anti-kidnapping teams had been deployed to handle the situation.

Adetunji Adeleye, the Commander of Amotekun Corps, also confirmed the incident and mentioned that security forces were combing the area in search of the victims.

A family source revealed that the kidnappers had contacted the victims’ families and demanded a ransom of N15 million. Security agencies are actively working to rescue the students.
