Hon. Kingsley Kemebradigha Kuku, Ph.D, one of the successful graduates of the Nigerian Law School, has clarified his current status regarding admission to the Nigerian Bar. In a disclaimer signed by Eric Pere Yanyangbini, Esq., made available to our correspondent, it was stated that although Hon. Kingsley Kuku, Ph.D has passed the Bar Finals, he is yet to be formally called to the Bar.

Our attention has been drawn to certain pictures of Hon. Kingsley Kuku, PhD, taken during his participation as Defence Counsel in a moot court session at the Nigerian Law School, Abuja, which are currently being circulated on social media and other platforms, giving the erroneous impression that he has already been called to the Nigerian Bar.
2. While we sincerely appreciate the overwhelming goodwill, calls, text messages, and congratulatory messages from friends, colleagues, associates, and the general public since the release of the Nigerian Law School Bar Final results, it is important to make a clear clarification that:
Hon. Kingsley Kuku, PhD has successfully passed the Bar Finals, but he is yet to be called to the Bar.
3. Accordingly, the public is hereby advised to stop using the said moot court pictures wherein he is/was adorned in lawyers outfit, as it creates a misleading impression. This, however, does not foreclose the continued expression of goodwill and congratulatory messages, which we warmly appreciate.
