Centenarian Mother of Nasir El-Rufai Passes Away in Egypt
Hajiya Fatima Zarah Ahmad El-Rufai, mother of former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai, has died at the age of 100 in Cairo, Egypt, after a prolonged illness.
Her death was confirmed by family sources on Friday, throwing the El-Rufai family into mourning.
She is survived by her children, including Nasir El-Rufai, and grandchildren such as Bello El-Rufai.
In a statement signed on behof the family on media, they requested prayers for the deceased, saying, “We ask for prayers for her soul to be elevated to the highest level of paradise.”
Hajiya Fatima Zarah Ahmad El-Rufai lived for a century, during which she was regarded as a central figure within her family.
She passed away in Cairo, where she had been receiving medical care.
