BOXING SCANDAL: Female Boxer Forced to Fight Biological Male, Quits in Tears After Just 45 Seconds
In a shocking and disturbing turn of events, Italian boxer Angela Carini was compelled to compete against Imane Khelif, a biological male from Algeria, in a recent match.
The bout ended in disaster, with Carini quitting after just 45 seconds and bursting into hysterical tears as Khelif was declared the winner.
“This is unjust!” Carini exclaimed, slamming her headgear in frustration as the fight was called off.
“I’m used to suffering, but I’ve never taken a punch like that. It’s impossible to continue,” she told reporters, her voice shaking with emotion.
Carini’s coach revealed that she may have suffered a broken nose during the brief but intense fight.
“I got into the ring to fight, but I didn’t feel like it anymore after the first minute,” Carini explained.
“I started to feel a strong pain in my nose, and I didn’t give up, but a punch hurt too much, and so I said enough. I’m leaving with my head held high.”
The controversy surrounding this match is heightened by the fact that Khelif failed gender eligibility tests at the 2023 World Championships, sparking outrage and concerns about fair play and athlete safety.
“This is a dark day for women’s boxing,” said a sports commentator.
“The fact that Carini was forced to fight a biological male is a travesty, and the consequences are clear.
We demand answers and action from the boxing authorities to ensure this never happens again.”
