Arogbo stands still as Barr. Solomon Tunyan and Wife Celebrate 20 Years of Marital Bliss With Thanksgiving

It was a moment of joy, gratitude, and celebration as Barrister Solomon Tunyan and his wife, Deaconess Ebiere Solomon Tunyan, marked their 20th wedding anniversary with a thanksgiving service in Arogbo, Ondo State.

The well-attended thanksgiving service was held at First Baptist Church, Agwobiri Quarters, Arogbo, where family members, friends, church members, and dignitaries gathered to appreciate God for two decades of marital union.

In his sermon, the Pastor-in-Charge of the church, Rev. James Oluwanifise, PhD, took his message from Amos 3:3, emphasizing the importance of unity, agreement, love, and tolerance in marriage. He commended Barr. and Deaconess Tunyan for sustaining their marriage through mutual understanding and encouraged intending and young couples to always walk in agreement and patience in their marital journey.

The thanksgiving service was followed by a colourful reception at the couple’s residence, where guests were lavishly entertained. Musical performances were led by renowned Ijaw Awigiri musician Taye Sofiyegha, popularly known as Tasco Marine, adding glamour to the celebration.

Several dignitaries graced the occasion, including Oba Felix Koledoye, the Okiribiti of Sabomi; His Highness J.K. Feku, the Tarabiri Toru of Arogbo; Hon. Kolade Akinjo, former two-term member of the House of Representatives; Hon. Felix George, the Ikeli of Opu Erubiri; Hon. Israel Emokenighan; High Chief Israel Muleboh, the Pereatoru of Ayeka Kingdom, Okitipupa; Rev. T.G. Foloki, Pastor of First Baptist Church, Agadagba-Obon; High Chief Thank God Toikumoh, the Torukurowei of Arogbo-Ibe (popularly known as 3 Lion); Barrister & Justice Pemi; High Chief Barr. H. Ogiren; Magistrate Manuwa; Akin Tolo; as well as staff of OSUSTECH, Okitipupa, among others.

In his vote of thanks, Barrister Solomon Tunyan expressed heartfelt appreciation to all dignitaries, guests, friends, and well-wishers who came to celebrate with his family. He prayed for God’s blessings upon them and wished everyone journey mercies back to their various destinations.

The event was a remarkable celebration of love, faith, and gratitude to God for 20 years of a successful marital union.
