With a heavy heart and profound sorrow, Doctor Kegbe, CEO and Publisher of Arogbo-Ibe Voice Reporters, has announced the passing of his dear uncle, Otegha Kowei, who departed this world after a brief illness.
In a heartfelt tribute, Doctor Kegbe described his late uncle as more than just a relative; he was a father figure, mentor, and guiding light whose unwavering belief, prayers, and words of encouragement profoundly shaped his journey.
“His love was selfless, his wisdom boundless, and his presence irreplaceable. Losing him is a deep wound that words cannot heal; a pain that echoes through the Kowei family and the Adoloseimo II community,” Kegbe stated.
He further emphasized that while his uncle’s absence has created an unfillable void, his legacy of kindness, strength, and unwavering faith will continue to inspire those he left behind.
Expressing his grief, Kegbe added, “Uncle, your departure has left an ache in my heart, but I find solace in the love you shared and the lessons you taught me. You will forever be cherished, honoured, and remembered.”
He concluded with a solemn farewell:
“Rest in eternal peace, my beloved uncle.”
Late Otegha Kowei was the immediate elder blood brother to Mrs. Esther Kowei-Sanami, who, alongside the entire family, mourns this great loss.
