APC chieftains hail Aiyedatiwa on bursary and minimum wage

Oluwatobi Aruwajoye, a prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State, praised the state government for its recent financial actions, including the allocation of N335 million in bursaries for students and the approval of a new N70,000 minimum wage for workers.

Aruwajoye, from Owo Local Government, expressed his gratitude in Akure on Wednesday, calling the wage increase a “well-deserved victory” for the state’s dedicated workforce and recognizing their patience and perseverance.

He said, “I am thrilled that the Ondo State government has set a N70,000 minimum wage for workers. This is a much-needed boost for the hardworking people of Ondo State who have awaited this improvement in their conditions.”

Aruwajoye also praised the bursary distribution, viewing it as evidence of the government’s commitment to the education and well-being of its citizens. “The bursaries reflect the government’s investment in the future of our youth and the overall development of the state,” he noted.

He urged the government to stay focused on these important areas and ensure the new minimum wage is effectively implemented. Additionally, he called for ongoing, transparent bursary distribution to deserving students, stressing that sustained support for education and worker welfare is crucial for the state’s growth.
