Boye Ologbese, the former Ondo State Commissioner for Regional Integration, has praised Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa for his visionary leadership and significant contributions to the state. Describing Aiyedatiwa as a man of integrity and exceptional leadership, Ologbese commended the governor for his transformative governance, which has brought about significant progress in Ondo State.

Ologbese highlighted Aiyedatiwa’s dedication to sustainable development, regional collaboration, and empowering the people of Ondo State. He pointed to Aiyedatiwa’s leadership in establishing the Ministry of Regional Integration and Diaspora Relations, which has successfully engaged the Diaspora and fostered key partnerships benefiting the state.
One of the governor’s major achievements, Ologbese noted, is the Diaspora Smart City, the “Green Economy Initiative.” This project, designed as a “Mini Dubai” within Ondo State, is poised to attract investment, boost tourism, and create thousands of jobs, while also promoting eco-friendly practices.
The establishment of the Ondo Deep Sea Port in 2023 was another milestone, with the port set to transform Ondo State’s economy by boosting international trade. Additionally, the creation of the NiDCOM Southwest Annex Office in Ondo State has strengthened ties with the Diaspora, enhancing trade, investment, and knowledge exchange.
Ologbese also commended Aiyedatiwa’s administration for its focus on youth welfare, combating irregular migration, and providing safer opportunities. The integration between Ondo and Ekiti states, including the introduction of electric taxis in Akure and Ado Ekiti under the green economy initiative, was another innovative step forward under the governor’s leadership.
As Aiyedatiwa celebrated his 60th birthday, Ologbese reflected on his leadership qualities, noting his ability to inspire and his deep love for his people. He congratulated the governor, wishing him continued success in his efforts to lay a strong foundation for Ondo State’s future prosperity. Ologbese emphasized that Aiyedatiwa’s legacy would continue to inspire future generations and that his remarkable achievements would stand the test of time.
