AIKU-Ever Bright International Foundation and Youth Assembly of Nigeria Launch Statewide Christmas Outreach

In an effort to support the elderly and vulnerable populations across Ondo State during the festive season, the AIKU-Ever Bright International Foundation, in collaboration with the Youth Assembly of Nigeria (YAN), Ondo Chapter, has launched a statewide Christmas outreach program.

The initiative, which began on December 9, 2024, is targeting beneficiaries across all 18 local government areas of the state. The program was flagged off in Ondo South Senatorial District, where 20 individuals from each of the six local government areas were selected as beneficiaries during the first phase of the exercise.

The selection process was designed to be fair and transparent, with beneficiaries chosen randomly to ensure direct impact and eliminate the influence of intermediaries.

Speaking on the success of the outreach, RT.Hon.Isaiah Oyawale, Speaker of the Youth Assembly of Nigeria, Ondo Chapter, emphasized the program’s commitment to providing relief and support to those most in need. “We are delighted that the first phase of this exercise has been successful, and we are committed to expanding this initiative across the remaining local governments in the state,” he said.

Also speaking,was the Deputy majority Leader, Icon-James Tam who thank the leadership of Yan and AIKU-Ever Bright International for the gesture saying it was timely.

The outreach highlights the collaborative efforts of stakeholders in addressing the economic challenges faced by vulnerable groups, ensuring that the joy of the festive season reaches every corner of the state.
