As the Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) Western Zone approaches a pivotal moment in selecting new leadership, Comrade Nicholas Igarama has articulated his vision for a more coordinated and united zone. Reflecting on the contributions of past leaders and the challenges they faced, Igarama underscores the potential for significant progress and unity within the Western Zone.

“The Council is a progressive organization. As we reflect on past experiences and future aspirations, let’s remain positive that a more coordinated Ijaw Youth Council Western Zone is possible,” Igarama stated. He envisions a zone where the 24 Clans are strengthened through meaningful engagement, and women are prioritized with initiatives that expand their intellectual horizons.

Igarama also highlights the importance of giving a voice to critical stakeholders to provide better advice for the advancement of the Council. “A more effective and coordinated zone will empower Ijaw youths to rise and confront the challenges facing our community,” he asserted.

Nicholas Igarama calls on all delegates to vote for him in the upcoming IYC Western Zone election, promising to lead with a vision of unity, progress, and effective coordination.
