A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and an aspirant for the Ondo State House of Assembly, to represent the unique Ese-odo constituency, Hon. Samuel Jemi, has extended a lavish and intellectually rich tribute to Hon. D. I. Kekemeke (PhD) following his emergence as Chairman of the APC South-West.
In a statement issued on March 26, 2026, Jemi described Kekemeke’s rise as a “meritorious coronation befitting a political luminary,” praising his decades-long contribution to governance and party development across the region.
The aspirant, who is seeking to represent Ese-Odo Constituency, featured Kekemeke’s political journey as “nothing short of illustrious, replete with tenacity, sagacity, and an enviable corpus of service.”
Highlighting the new chairman’s extensive résumé, Jemi noted his service in the Ondo State House of Assembly, his tenure as Attorney General, Commissioner for Works, Lands and Housing, and Secretary to the State Government.
He further acknowledged Kekemeke’s foundational role as APC State Pioneer Chairman and his subsequent position as APC South-West Vice Chairman.
