Sanwo-olu confident of 80% win in Ondo
The Campaign Council of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu stated that the party is determined to achieve a significant victory in the Ondo State governorship election. Speaking in Akure after the National Chairman Umar Ganduje inaugurated the campaign council, Sanwo-Olu emphasized that their campaign would focus on issues rather than sentiments or personal attacks.
He highlighted that the APC candidate, Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has undertaken several commendable projects that will resonate well with voters. Sanwo-Olu expressed confidence that the party could secure over 80 percent of the votes, citing Aiyedatiwa’s accomplishments as key to their campaign’s success.

“We assure our party and leaders that we will run an issues-based campaign,” he said, praising Aiyedatiwa’s contributions to the community. “His legacy will help us earn victory.”
Ganduje commended Aiyedatiwa for his progressive leadership, stating that the people are fortunate to have him as their governor. Engr. Ade Adetimehin, the state party chairman, noted that all former PDP chairmen in Ondo have joined the APC, indicating a strong political shift towards the party.
He assured party members that they are well-organized and focused, promising to return Aiyedatiwa to office. Governor Aiyedatiwa affirmed that the Ondo APC embodies love, unity, respect, and a strong commitment to success, pledging to continue uplifting the community.
