Former Deputy Governor and PDP candidate for the Ondo state governorship, Honourable Agboola Ajayi, has assured residents that his party will do everything possible to ensure the November 16 election is free from rigging. He made these comments during his campaign tour in Ore, Odigbo Local Government Area.

Addressing concerns about potential election fraud, Ajayi encouraged the public to turn out in large numbers on election day and vote for him without fear. He emphasized the importance of protecting their votes and promised that the PDP would take all necessary measures to safeguard the election results.

Ajayi stated, “Nobody can rig this upcoming gubernatorial election; we will ensure that any attempts to do so are thwarted. Please come out in droves on election day and vote for the PDP, while remaining vigilant to protect your votes at polling units.”

If elected, Ajayi pledged to establish a dry port in Ore within his first term to boost economic activities in the area, aiming to transform the town into a smart city and commercial hub. He also committed to providing free healthcare services for the elderly and children and improving security for infrastructure and social development.

Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde, who joined Ajayi on the campaign trail, described the November 16 election as a pivotal moment for the people of Ondo State. He urged them to support the PDP, promising that Ajayi would harness the state’s natural resources to lift residents from poverty to prosperity.
