In a strategic push towards ensuring the victory of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming Ondo State governorship election, Hon. Donald Ojogo, member representing the Ese-Odo/Ilaje Federal Constituency, alongside Senior High Chief Bibopiri Ajube, the Beleukoriwei of Arogbo-Ibe, convened a stakeholders’ meeting on the 19th of October, 2024. The meeting took place at God’s Own Estate, Agadagba-Obon, Ese-Odo Local Government Area.
The gathering, which brought together APC stakeholders from the five wards of Arogbo-Ibe, aimed to strategize and map out ways to secure a resounding victory for the Ondo State Governor, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, and his running mate, Dr. Adelami, in the November 16, 2024, governorship election.
Key decisions reached during the meeting included the appointment of ward, zone, and unit coordinators to intensify grassroots mobilization efforts. The stakeholders also resolved to meet regularly to monitor progress and ensure the APC’s success at the polls.
In his remarks, Hon. Ojogo assured the stakeholders that all necessary support would be provided to ensure a clean victory for Governor Aiyedatiwa and the APC. He emphasized the importance of unity and coordinated efforts across all levels. Senior High Chief Bibopiri Ajube echoed these sentiments, declaring that the upcoming election was a must-win for the party.

Prominent figures at the meeting included Hon. Atili Ikoto, Deputy State Chairman of the APC in Ondo State; Chairman of the Arogbo Local Council Development Area (LCDA); the APC Chairman for Ese-Odo LGA; Barr. Ekpo Iwabi, Commissioner at the Ondo State Civil Service Commission; Chief Success Torhukerhuju, former member of the Ondo State House of Assembly and Ese-Odo Campaign Director-General for the Aiyedatiwa/Adelami bid; and a host of political heavyweights, including several political appointees.
The stakeholders commended the leaders for convening the meeting at such a crucial time, acknowledging that it was a necessary step toward ensuring victory for the APC.
