Makinde appointed as Aiyedatiwa’s campaign DG

Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa has launched the APC State Campaign Council, appointing Hon. Abiola Makinde, a House of Representatives member for the Ondo East/Ondo West federal district, as the campaign’s Director General.

During the third APC Stakeholders meeting on Thursday at The Dome in Akure, the governor announced that the official campaign launch will take place on Saturday at Ondo City Hall in the Central Senatorial District. He called on APC members to unite and reaffirm their commitment in preparation for the upcoming gubernatorial election.

State APC Chairman Ade Adetimehin echoed the governor’s message in his welcome address, reminding members that the APC is one united family despite differing views. He urged them to prioritize the party’s success over personal agendas, stating, “Ondo is a progressive state, and we will remain so as long as we stand together.” He also encouraged everyone to focus on the party’s objectives.

In his vote of thanks, Deji Oyedele, an APC leader from the South Senatorial District, expressed gratitude to Governor Aiyedatiwa for taking the time to attend the meeting.
