Ozone layer: Ambassadors hail Tompolo, Tantita for preservation

Tantita Security Ambassadors have praised Tantita Security Services for its commitment to protecting the ozone layer and addressing environmental degradation in the Niger Delta.

In a statement for World Ozone Layer Preservation Day on September 16, Coordinator Efe Kwakpovwe, Secretary Andrew Efole, and Public Relations Officer Stanley Umukoro recognized the firm’s significant role in safeguarding the environment through its pipeline surveillance efforts.

Tantita Security Ambassadors comprises professionals, entrepreneurs, and activists from oil-producing and pipeline-hosting communities across the Niger Delta.

The statement highlighted, “Tantita Security Services has played a crucial role in protecting oil pipelines from vandalism and illegal activities, thereby reducing pollution and its negative impacts. Their commitment has significantly decreased the release of harmful hydrocarbons, helping to protect the ozone layer, the environment, and public health.”

The group expressed their intention to collaborate as volunteers with Tantita Security Services in this vital mission for a sustainable future. They also commended Chief Government Ekpemukpolo (Tompolo) and Managing Director Chief Kestin Pondi for their leadership and contributions to socio-economic development.

Additionally, they acknowledged Tompolo’s educational initiatives, including a recent donation of N7 million to the top graduate of the Federal University of Petroleum Resources, FUPRE, and his support for the military, exemplified by the rehabilitation of a 68-room lodge for soldiers at 32 Amphibious Barracks, Effurun.
