Ondo state to host world entrepreneurship festival
The festival’s organizers anticipate that business owners will come from all around the world. Dan Walkovitz, Chairman of the Entrepreneurship Village and a member of the GEF Board, told reporters during the Global Press Conference at the Lagos Oriental Hotel on Victoria Island that the festival will expand on the results of the 79th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA2024) and the Summit of the future.
The Festival organisers announced that this year’s festival will take place in Ondo State, South-West Nigeria.
It’s an assembly of like-minded individuals who are committed to fulfilling their personal share of the Sustainable Development Goals, or SDGs. The event’s speakers emphasized the ways in which entrepreneurship fosters investments, bilateral trade, and social impact. Speaking to the media about the matter, the event coordinator revealed the Global Entrepreneurship Festival’s subject.
He emphasized that, given the state of affairs, the conference’s issue is crucial. A total of twelve simultaneous events, including conferences, networking sessions, breakout rooms, business pitches to VCs and investors, an award gala, an innovation and robotics expo, a hackathon, a trade fair and exhibitions, an international women’s congress, a fashion show, and a closing concert, were revealed during the event.
