Movement for the Rights of Arogbo-Ibe Warns Idowu Asonja’s Subordinates For Casting Aspersions on Traditional Leaders

The Movement for the Rights of Arogbo-Ibe (MRAI) has issued a stern warning to the subordinate, Daniel Kekemeke, a Subordinate to Idowu Asonja, condemning recent derogatory remarks aimed at the leaders of Arogbo Kingdom. The warning was occasioned by a Facebook video credited to Kekemeke Daniel where he allegedly hired a musician to insult the kingdom’s leaders, including traditional rulers, and the entire community through song.

In the video, Kekemeke was accused of falsely claiming that leaders within the Arogbo Kingdom had sold off solar installations and other valuable developmental projects meant for the community. The MRAI dismissed these accusations as fabricated lies intended to tarnish the reputations of respected leaders in Arogbo Ijaw Kingdom. The movement stated that Kekemeke, whom they considered insignificant, should not be allowed to attack the revered reputations of the kingdom’s leadership, and called on Idowu Asonja to call him to order.

The MRAI further highlighted a pattern of disrespectful behaviour by Kekemeke, citing previous incidents where he allegedly made similar derogatory statements. In their strongly-worded statement, the movement condemned Kekemeke for what they described as unstable character and labeled him a betrayer and prodigal son of the Arogbo-Ibe community. They warned that Kekemeke’s actions could lead to serious consequences if not checkmated.

The statement from the MRAI also touched on broader concerns within the Arogbo-Ibe community, emphasising the need to protect the respect and dignity of their leaders and cultural heritage. The movement expressed outrage that Kekemeke, who they claim is merely an employee of Idowu Asonja, has been falsely parading himself as the coordinator of Tantita Security Services Limited in Arogbo Kingdom—a role they insist has not been recognised by any traditional council or security agency within the region.

The MRAI’s warning to Kekemeke and his subordinates was unequivocal: they must cease their insults towards the leaders of Arogbo Kingdom. The community, the movement emphasised, will not tolerate any further disrespectful or childish behaviour directed at their leaders.

“This is a final warning,” the MRAI’s statement declared. “Stop insulting our leaders with the meager benefits you traded with integrity”

The movement stressed that any attempt to disrespect Constituted authority or any other leader in Arogbo-Ijaw Kingdom would not be tolerated, urging those involved to change their unwise and slanderous behaviour forthwith.
