That Women have a fundamental role to play in the progress of the human society is obviously getting acknowledgement across the world. And with the developmental strides of the Ijaw Women Connect (IWC) in our communities, we are bound to commend, compliment and appreciate them with our platforms and resources so that they can be encouraged to do more for humanity.

The recent empowerment programme of the Ijaw Women Connect in Arogbo-Ibe calls out the sense of gratitude and the humaneness in the CSR of Arogbo-Ibe Voice Media. AIV Media was pleased and grateful to witness how IWC empowered students of Ijaw National High School, Arogbo Town in Ese-Odo Local Government Area of Ondo State. Clearly, it was aimed at uplifting and inspiring the next generation of leaders within the community.

It was attended by representatives from the Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) and other individuals, and was not only a testament to the dedication of the IWC but also highlighted the collaborative spirit of local organizations working towards a common goal: the advancement of education and opportunity for all.

As news of this empowering event spreads, it serves as a beacon of hope and inspiration for the larger society, showcasing the power of community-driven initiatives to create positive change. The ripple effects of such efforts are boundless, fostering a culture of empowerment and resilience that transcends generations.

In a world where the youth are often overlooked or underserved, initiatives like this one stand as a shining example of the impact that can be achieved when communities come together to uplift and empower the next generation.

With humanitarian organizations like IWC, we have the assurance and hope that Ijaw community will be greater and better!
