A Painful Goodbye: Niger Delta Leader Gen. Threelion Loses Beloved Wife at 48

For a family that had shared years of love, companionship and cherished memories, the news came with a pain words can hardly capture.

The Families of Yayu and Toikumo have announced the sudden passing of Mrs. Toikumoh Elizabeth Inaikpopamini, who died at the age of 48.

Mrs. Toikumoh passed peacefully at Opugbini, Ondo State, leaving behind memories of a woman whose presence meant much to those around her. Her death has brought sorrow to her home and to the wider circle of people who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her husband, High Chief Prince ThankGod Layefa Toikumoh, popularly known as “Gen. Threelion”, her children, siblings, aged mother and other loved ones.

For those closest to her, the coming days will be a difficult farewell, not only to a wife and mother, but to someone whose life was woven into the everyday memories of those she leaves behind.

Her remains will be laid to rest in Arogbo on October 15 and 16, 2026, according to the funeral announcement.

The announcement was made by Mr. R.M. Omoshin and High Chief E.M. Toikumoh, on behalf of the families.

As the family prepares to lay her to rest, Arogbo-Ibe Voice Reporters extends its heartfelt condolences to everyone mourning her passing.

May the memories she leaves behind bring comfort to those she loved, and may her soul rest in perfect peace.
